The team behind Shed Theatre and Theatr Bont present a bold new abridged version of Shakespeare’s King John.
Before heading to the stunning Willow Globe in Mid Wales for two performances on Saturday 4th July 2026, the company will stage a special preview performance at Theatr Bont on 2nd July at 7:30pm.
This largely Welsh, female-led ensemble reimagines the history play in post-industrial revolution Wales, blending Shakespeare with the gothic sounds and spirit of Jeff Buckley and Leonard Cohen.
Directed and designed by Evan L. Barker and Iwan Bond.
Featuring performances from Ailis Young, Angharad Philips, Annalise Williamson, Mali Rhys-Thomas, Evan L. Barker and Iwan Bond.
