I Will Survive is a comedy storytelling show about grief, specifically, the complicated experience of losing a parent you didn’t really like.
Blending storytelling, humour, and slightly unhinged academic energy (yes, there’s a PowerPoint), the show explores the messy, contradictory feelings that can come with loss — and questions the idea that there’s a “right” way to grieve.
This performance includes themes of grief, death, and complex family relationships. While the show uses humour, it engages with sensitive subject matter.
I Will Survive will be performed 24th & 25th July at Theatr Bont, upstairs at the West House Public House, Bridgend.
Creative Team:
Written and Performed by Hari Berrow
Dramaturgy by Jen Lunn
Directed by Phil Okwedy
In-kind mentorship from Daniel Morden and tech support from Tom Allen
